Off the track

Usually a bumped door or a worn roller. The longer it runs like that the more it bends the track, so stop using it and call.

It reverses straight back

Nearly always a photo eye out of line or something in the beam. This one is often a five-minute fix.

My spring broke. Can I just replace it myself?

Please do not. A torsion spring under tension is the one part of a garage door that genuinely injures people. It is also a cheap repair when someone does it properly.

We take after-hours calls when a door is stuck open or will not close, because that is a security problem, not an inconvenience.

Do you charge for an estimate?

No. Estimates are free on every job, residential and commercial. If you want a number before anyone drives out, send a photo of the door or the opener and we can usually get close on the phone.
