Install day.

What happens, in order.

Old door out

Door, track and hardware stripped and loaded. Springs released safely, which is the part people should never do themselves.

Frame checked

Level, plumb and solid. We will not hang a new door on a rotten jamb and say nothing.

New door up

Panels, track, rollers, hinges, cables and springs, set and tensioned.

Balanced and tested

Door should hold at waist height with the opener disconnected. Then the opener is set and the safety reverse tested.

How long does an install take?

A single door is usually half a day, a double a full day. Two doors in one visit is normally a day.

Do you charge for an estimate?

No. Estimates are free on every job, residential and commercial. If you want a number before anyone drives out, send a photo of the door or the opener and we can usually get close on the phone.

How fast can you get here?
